5:00 – 8:30 pm • Storybook Pajama Party
Come in comfy PJs and listen to a favorite story. Visit with it's life-sized storybook character, make special crafts, enjoy a snack and join in a musical parade. Who knew "bedtime" could be so much fun? Space is limited, registration required. Learn More

Stepping Stones is really excited to be hosting the 26th Annual Western Connecticut Health Network WEBE108 KidsFest April 2, from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

This year’s all new KidsFest will feature the great exhibits at the Stepping Stones Museum for Children and will have bounce houses courtesy of Boppers free of charge for all attendees, over 25 different vendors with some great interactive tables throughout the museum as well as a ‘Be a DJ’ recording studio by all of your favorite WEBE108 DJs.

There will be a full lineup of entertainment and be able to take a picture with BooZoo, super heroes and all of the costume characters at KidsFest.

  • 1:00 pm • Ronald McDonald Show
  • 2:00 pm • Pete and Chris Amusements Magic Show

Tickets are $15 per person, FREE for Stepping Stones members and children under 1.

Explore our preschool classroom at the museum for 3 - 5 years olds and meet with an ELLI staff member.

Nano Science – Explore the concept of nano technology and nano science by experimenting with some nano activities. For children ages 2 and older.

2:00 pm • Show Me a Tale

How Night Came – Long, long ago, at the beginning of time, the daughter of the Great Sea Serpent brought shadows from the depths of the ocean to create night on earth. After the story, children will create sculptures in the Afro-Brazilian ferramentaria style (metal-smithing). Limited space – get tickets at the Welcome Desk. For children ages 5 and older.
