Once Upon an Author

Enjoy an interactive story time facilitated by a local author or illustrator. Meet the author or illustrator and have your book signed. Check the event calendar for dates.

Ask the Expert

Each month an expert on a relevant topic for families will join us in the Family and Teacher Resource Center to answer your questions. Topics will include health, literacy skills, special needs and parenting solutions.

Get Into It! FREE

Parent Zone

A collaboration with the Norwalk Early Childhood Council and the Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk, our Parent Zone workshops invite adults to enjoy a free series of discussions and presentations on relevant parenting issues designed to support parents as guides of children’s lifelong learning. Programs include a meal and childcare. Topics include child development, kindergarten readiness, health, media literacy, the environment and more.

Parent Council – Share Your Expertise

No one knows your child better than you. The Parent Council is the perfect opportunity to work with us to enhance the overall visitor experience at the museum.
