Manager of Marketing and Communications
Stepping Stones Museum is seeking an individual to manage the museum’s marketing and communications goals by managing all public relations and marketing programs. Develop and manage cohesive public relations campaign including writing press releases, securing press coverage and collecting press clippings. Develop and execute advertising plan to promote brand awareness including research, oversee creative development and placement while establishing a tracking system to measure success. Ensure consistency of message and graphics in all internal and external communications. Requires a BA in public relations, marketing, or advertising with a minimum of 5 years related work experience. Strong writing and composition skills required. Experience writing and editing press releases, promotional copy, direct mail, email marketing and website content required. Ability to use Vista and Raiser's Edge software a plus.
Part Time
Gallery Interpreters
Stepping Stones Museum is seeking a team player with strong communication and customer service skills to work in our galleries and at the Welcome Desk. Facilitate learning through programs and gallery activities. Flexible part-time morning, afternoon and weekend schedules up to 20 hours per week. Experience in early childhood, elementary education and/or customer service in a child-oriented or retail environment preferred. Minimum 2 years prior work experience.

Grant Writer
Stepping Stones Museum is seeking a persuasive, dynamic writer with ability to research, analyze and articulate programs and services.
Assist the Grants Manager in preparation of grant proposals. Must have demonstrated communication skills
including writing, editing and proofreading with attention to detail and accuracy. Must be deadline oriented,
able to multi-task and have strong organizational skills. Familiarity with concepts, practices and procedures
in the proposal and grant-application process a plus.
