Get Into It! Stepping Stones Museum for Children is actively recruiting people of all ages who want to share their talents to enhance educational opportunities for children in our community. Volunteers are an integral part of Stepping Stones whether they are helping visitors learn about the arts, sciences, culture and heritage or working behind the scenes to inspire strategic direction and successful special events. Stepping Stones offers a variety of exciting opportunities for both youth and adults. All volunteers play an essential role in the daily life of the museum. More than 279 volunteers contributed over 7,609 hours in 2006! The generous contributions and diverse personal and professional backgrounds of the volunteer team enrich the visitor experience. They allow Stepping Stones to continually expand a full range of quality educational programming and go above and beyond the expectations of our 213,000 annual visitors.

Each volunteer at Stepping Stones Museum for Children receives:
