Bubbles contains several activity stations where visitors can investigate the science behind bubbles. Visitors create bubbles of different shapes and sizes as they experiment with how they are formed, the colors they produce and the amazing properties they have. Bubbles encourages visitors to investigate the scientific principles behind bubbles, including surface tension, evaporation and light reflection. Visitors will build an understanding of water, its unique properties and how to apply knowledge of these properties in order to create specific results. |
Exploration Station A large station with a variety of wands allows visitors to explore different ways to create bubbles. |
Mega-Bubble Station Stand inside a bubble. An oversized hoop allows visitors to create gigantic bubbles. |
Bubble Wall Visitors try making large bubble walls, as well as discover the interesting color patterns that bubbles produce. |
Bubble Shapes Visitors experiment with different shapes as they lower three-dimensional geometric shapes into a trough of bubble solution and observe how these tools can be used to make unusually shaped bubbles. |
