Traveling Exhibit Gallery

In anticipation of our future growth, we have retired In The Works to create a traveling exhibit gallery to host new experiences throughout the year and generate excitement for our expansion plans.

Schedule

Conservation Quest
(Now Open – February 2009)

Our new traveling exhibit, Conservation Quest, will make its first stop at Stepping Stones before traveling to other children’s museums and science centers across the country. Loaded with hands-on activities and explorations, the exhibit is designed to inspire families to make thoughtful choices about energy use to help protect the planet and promote healthy living. This exhibit will be featured for a limited time, so visit before it goes on the road in February!

Invention Convention
(Spring – Summer 2009)

Curious kids can invent and create in a space designed to spark imaginations. Exploration stations, invention capes and recycled materials await young inventors.

Build It
(Summer 2009 – Summer 2010)

Join the crew as we discover building basics. Design and build with blocks (Kapla, Lego, Lincoln Logs, you name it). Lift, load, dump and haul. Learn about the building process and take a sneak peak at Stepping Stones construction plans for 2010.
