Early Childhood Classes

 

Let your imagination soar! Our play-filled classes start children on a path to lifelong learning by encouraging creativity, exploration and discovery. A wide variety of hands-on activities, books and our unique exhibits will be used to support the development of your child's motor, cognitive, language and social skills–all while having fun! Summer 2010 — Weeks of June 28 – July 19

Stepping Into Senses (Ages 6 months – 2 1/2 years) Tuesdays, 10:15 – 11 am

Inspire the senses! Help your child explore multi-sensory activities while building language, motor and social skills. Each session includes music, movement, stories and hands-on activities. SOLD OUT

 

ArtSmarts (Ages 2 – 4) Wednesdays, 3:30 – 4:30 pm

Calling all pint-sized artists! Experiment with a wide variety of artistic materials and methods including paint, sculpture, print making and collage. Children will explore shapes, colors, forms and patterns while learning about different modes of expression. LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE

 

Movers and Shakers NEW! (Ages 2 – 4) Thursdays, 10:15 – 11 am

Twist and shout! Children have the chance to use their whole body in this active class featuring movement, music, songs, and imaginary play.
