Rainforest Animals

Preschool - Grade 3

Complement your classroom learning with our hands-on animal travel trunk. Rent our trunk for up to two weeks, and bring the wonders of rainforest animals to your students through interactive lesson plans, books, videos, music and puppets. Carefully selected hands-on activities and materials help students experience the lives of rainforest animals and understand the concepts of camouflage, animal adaptations, animals’ needs, classification and distribution.

$30 for two weeks, plus a $30 refundable security deposit.

 

Enviroscape

Grades 3 - 4

Demonstrate how different land uses affect water quality using this three-dimensional community landscape. Children and adults learn by using chemicals (drink mix) and loose soil (cocoa) on the community landscape to see how their actions and those of others may affect our water quality and how they can help prevent water pollution in their own communities. Complete with lesson plans and additional resources.
