Great News, Norwalk Neighbors
If your family receives SNAP/EBT benefits, Stepping Stones Museum for Children is opening its doors to you, completely free.
Starting June 1, 2026, Norwalk families receiving SNAP/EBT benefits are invited to join the Open Arms Neighbors Membership, a brand-new pilot program offering FREE year-long museum memberships.
We believe every child deserves a space to explore, wonder and grow. That's why we're bringing unlimited museum access to Norwalk families receiving SNAP/EBT benefits – so they can visit as often as they’d like throughout the year.
Who qualifies?
Norwalk residents currently receiving SNAP/EBT benefits are welcome! Simply visit our welcome desk and a manager will process your membership on the spot.
What Documents Do I Need to Bring?
- Your Norwalk SNAP/EBT card
- A photo ID (driver's license, state ID, passport or employee/school ID)
- If your ID shows your Norwalk address – that's it! If not, bring a current utility bill or bank statement as proof of residency.
What Your Family Receives
- Unlimited free admission for up to TWO (2) adults and FIVE (5) children per household
- Programming aligned with Norwalk Public School curriculum and your family's learning goals
