Campaign for Stepping Stones at Ten
Since opening in March 2000, Stepping Stones Museum for Children has brought the best in educational exhibits, innovative programs and family enjoyment to the region. Today, with more than 215,000 visitors a year, the museum has quickly reached capacity. Like children outgrowing their clothes, the museum is bursting at the seams. Plans call for a 22,000 square foot green expansion to better serve the community.

Our LEED Gold Certified building will serve as a model for excellence in building design and environmental education. Sustainable building design, energy-themed exhibits and programming will educate visitors about respecting their world.
