Since opening in March 2000, Stepping Stones Museum for Children has brought the best in educational exhibits, innovative programs and family enjoyment to the region. Today, with more than 215,000 visitors a year, the museum has quickly reached capacity. Like children outgrowing their clothes, the museum is bursting at the seams. Plans call for additional space to better serve the community. We invite you to join us in our campaign to build a 22,000 square foot green expansion. Together, we are
building an extraordinary future for children.

Going Green

Our LEED Gold Certified building will serve as a model for excellence in building design and environmental education. Sustainable building design, energy-themed exhibits and programming will educate visitors about respecting their world.

Make it Happen

To make our vision a reality, we need to raise $17 million. While our expansion has generated enthusiastic support, we need everyone’s help to reach our goal. Your support will help create a world-class children’s museum that builds on the wonderful success of our past, while preparing for an extraordinary future!

Join Us

Whether you are new to the museum, or a long-standing friend, we hope you will join us in supporting the Growing Together Community Campaign. We need your help so that the museum can continue to grow and flourish, just like the children it serves.
