Visitor Tips
For the comfort and safety of our visitors:
Safety
Help keep the museum safe for all visitors - encourage walking instead of running, use indoor voices and use fire exits only in case of emergency.
Strollers
Strollers may be used for the comfort of sleeping babies. Please do not use strollers in the museum for transport. Stroller parking is provided in several places throughout the museum. We ask that you do not use strollers in Waterscape, Rainforest Adventure and Toddler Terrain exhibits.
Summer Visitation
Summer weekdays can be busy with children visiting from area camps. If you want a quieter visit, try arriving at noon when most groups are leaving or visiting on Wednesdays which are group-free days.
Cubbies
Cubbies are located in the coatroom free of charge and on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lost Children
Please check in with any staff member if you become separated from your child.
First Aid
Notify any staff member in the event of a medical emergency. Managers are trained in Community First Aid and Safety.
Diaper Changing
Diaper changing stations are located in all public restrooms.
Stepping Stones Cafe
Families can enjoy breakfast foods, cereals, snack bars, a wide variety of wrap sandwiches, pizzas, chicken fingers, hot dogs and salads, healthy snacks, baked goods, yogurts, puddings and beverages.
To keep the museum safe for all visitors, we ask that you keep all food and drink in the Cafe area or outdoors in the courtyard.
