Crystal Theatre, a performing arts academy in Norwalk, brings Pirates of Penzance to Stepping Stones! The story follows Frederic, who is released from his apprenticeship with band of tender-hearted pirates on his 21^st birthday and falls in love with a young woman, Mabel. Frederic soon learns, however, that he was born on the 29^th of February, and technically has a birthday only once each leap year. He must remain apprenticed to the pirates until his “twenty-first birthday”, which is 63 years away!

Will Mabel and Frederic’s love survive while they wait the many long years to be reunited? Find out in this thrilling, swashbuckling tale, performed by talented young artists from the Crystal Theatre!
