Be a paleontologist! Meet the dinosaurs of the Mesozoic time period, participate in a mini paleontology dig and find out what can be discovered in the sand. After investigating the traits of familiar and new creatures of the past, create your own dinosaur model.
Work together to create unique puppets and explore how to bring them to life. You will be introduced to the world of puppetry and create your own puppets to put on a show at camp and at home with friends and family.
Spring is in the air with flowers blooming to fill the world with color as the insects come to life! Be inspired by Spring and explore the concept of color mixing and the science of chromatography. Investigate insects and bugs and use your creativity and imagination to design and create your own string art insect.
Imagination comes to life! Learn the basics of visual storytelling. Develop your own characters and make those characters come to life in your comic strip.
Explore sound and music can be made with our bodies and with objects found in the world around us. Create a band at camp by designing and building your own percussion instrument to take home and continue the music.
Note: No previous musical experience or ability needed. Topics and projects are designed for everyone.
