Discovery Station: Snowball Fest
Take a deeper dive into learning with fun and engaging STEAM discoveries driven by our exhibit galleries and seasonal experiences. Explorers will use their investigation skills to gain a new outlook on the world around them. There are new discoveries to be made every week.

Art Smarts
Calling all artists of all ages! Express yourself with a wide variety of artistic materials and methods including paint, sculpture, printing and collage. Artists will explore shapes, colors, forms and patterns while learning about different modes of creative expression. Join us for a new art project every week.

Music Makers
Pick up an instrument and strike up the band with musical explorations that make you groove, move and sing.

Mutt-i-grees
Meet the friendly dog assisting in a unique story time that helps children build social-emotional skills and become caring, calm and confident citizens.

Get your blood pumping and your body moving! Join us on a fun fitness adventure to help keep your body energized and healthy.

Snowball Festival
January 9 – February 12
Now through February 13, step into our blizzard of family fun during the Snowball Festival at Stepping Stones Museum for Children. Join us for wintry games and learning-rich experiences, including character visits, special WOW! performances, the always-popular Sweetheart Ball and plenty of frosty festivities. Enjoy all of the red-hot fun in this very COOL place to be during the Snowball Festival.

Sweetheart Ball
Saturday, February 11 (4:00 – 8:00 pm)
All children and their favorite grown-ups are invited to glam-up and spend the early evening at our pre-Valentine’s Day soiree on Saturday, February 11 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. Share a horse-drawn carriage ride with someone you love and get creative by designing your own corsage or boutonniere. Enjoy a special dance experience with music that will make your heart pump hosted by DJ Lou plus sweetheart-themed activities and games to make your heart sing.

Museum's Birthday

In March, Stepping Stones Museum for Children is celebrating 23 years of serving this wonderful community and, to mark this milestone, we have a series of incredible "birthday" celebration experiences planned for this special weekend And the fun doesn't stop on during the weekend of March 11 and 12 – we're celebrating with festive programming all month long!

Don’t miss out on the Madness this March at Stepping Stones Museum for Children. The museum’s spectacular spaces serve as an amazing backdrop for the Game On! Lillie’s Jokester Jamboree

Calling all jokesters! Share your favorite jokes, riddles and puns or just sing and dance during Lillie the Ladybug's Jokester Jamboree. Join us for some blues-busting entertainment as we convey the importance of social-emotional learning in a fun, engaging and relevant way.

Egg-straordinary Egg-stravaganza

Join us this Saturday, April 8 for our egg-citing annual festival featuring egg-stremely fun activities for the whole family. Like always, this event promises to egg-ceed all egg-spectations.
