We’re bringing back Paleontology Camp with Professor James, Music Makers Camp with Dan, Dan the Music Man and we’re introducing Space Camp with Jen from Science Central!

All three camps will be virtual, but will also have TWO DAYS AT THE MUSEUM!*

*Our in-person experiences are subject to change depending on public health advisories.

*NEW* Space Camp

June 21 – 259:00 am – noon

Campers will learn about the rockets that carry astronauts, satellites and rovers out into space, our planetary neighbors of the solar system, asteroids that are constantly zipping through the skies and much more.

The Space Camp Kit includes materials for campers to engineer spacecrafts, as well as create star and nebula art, their own pocket solar system and more! Kit pickup for this stellar camp will be Saturday, June 19 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm.

As an added bonus, we’re also partnering with the NISE Network, a partner of NASA, for our camp content!

Music Makers Camp

July 12 – 16, 9:00 am – noon

We all know and love Dan Dan the Music Man. He is so excited to take you on a musical journey to learn the science of sound, the history of music, the different kinds of instruments and how they are made. There will be guest artist demonstrations and, of course, song time! No musical talent is required to attend this camp.

The Music Makers Camp Kit will teach campers how sound works through experimentation and by building and playing instruments like a guitar, a drum and a trumpet!

Paleontology Camp

August 16 – 20, 9:00 am – noon

Each day will explore a different aspect of dinosaur history, from our own backyard to the farthest reaches of the globe. Children will discover the origin of dinosaurs, make connections between modern-day animals and their prehistoric ancestors and trace our own human lineage.

The kit features a daily dig for fossils, a Pangea puzzle, a dinosaur nest and other activities to teach campers about evolution, habitats and more!
