Worldwide Lights Celebration • Monday, November 14 – Sunday, December 31

Stepping Stones Museum for Children shines during its annual exploration of the science and art of life and immersive investigation of how traditions of light are a centerpiece of winter celebrations around the world. From Thanksgiving to Hanukkah to Christmas to Kwanzaa and more, these holidays have special meaning for the people who celebrate them and provide a wonderful way for us to connect and learn with each other. Each week, the Holiday Happenings workshops will help us learn about the different holidays with a fun, hands-on activity connected to the featured celebration. Food is another major component of these holiday celebrations. The Healthyville® Café will be serving up a delicious array of menu offerings connected to each of these celebrations throughout the months of November and December.

It’s the “brightest” time of the year at Stepping Stones as the museum brings light to learning during its annual Worldwide Lights Celebration. From November 14 – December 31, it’s a season of sparkle and delight as our award-winning children’s museum illuminates learning during the year-end time-frame.

Year-end holidays highlighted during the Worldwide Lights Celebration include:

As if the immersive light investigations, hands-on holiday activities and yummy food wasn’t fun-tastic enough to stuff your stockings, we’ve got more holiday magic to pack into your sack of fun. The Worldwide Lights Celebration features a “sleighful” of exciting events and activities including:
