Summer Days: Summer Olympics

You don’t have to travel to Paris to experience the thrill of the Summer Olympics. Go “Faster, Higher, Stronger – Together” with us at Stepping Stones! Discover the spirit of the games and unleash the champion within through themed activities, special experiences and, of course, physical challenges where young Olympians can go for the gold.

Streetwise Safety Program by Nuvance Health/Norwalk Hospital

Wednesday, July 24 · 11:00 am and 2:00 pm

Safe play is serious business! During this interactive Bicycle/Pedestrian Safety Presentation provided by Norwalk Hospital's Department of Trauma, children will learn essential street safety skills, including the importance of wearing a helmet and how to wear it properly, through engaging games like Red Light, Green Light and Simon Says.

My Gym Stamford Olympic Games

Summer Days: Bubble-Palooza

We hate to burst your bubble, but sometimes play is messy...and we love it! The fan-favorite Bubble-Palooza returns to close out Summer Days at Stepping Stones! Bounce on in for non-stop bubble action from art to hands-on experiments to special experiences to just plain messy fun. It’s gonna be poppin’!

Foam Parties

Back by popular demand, it’s our Stepping Stones Foam Parties! Every day during Bubble-Palooza, join us in the Celebration Courtyard for shoulder-deep, sudsy fun where it always feels like home sweet foam. Let’s pump this party! Please note that shoes and regular clothing are required at all times in the museum and the Celebration Courtyard. Bathing suits are not permitted, but feel free to bring a change of clothes.

Jeff Boyer’s Big Bubble Bonanza

Foam-tastic Time! with Scotty Kazan

The Dragon King Puppet Performance

Witness beautifully hand-crafted marionettes, colorful sets and integrated lighting and sound during this this fully immersive theatrical experience of The Dragon King right here at Stepping Stones. In this underwater fantasy based on Chinese folklore, The Dragon King tells the tale of an intrepid Grandmother who journeys to the bottom of the sea in search of the elusive Dragon King and the answers to why he has forsaken the land above. Featuring vibrant sea creatures, an exciting adventure and a kind protagonist who uses empathy to complete her quest, this award-winning production presented by Tanglewood Marionettes is sure to enchant viewers of all ages.
