The newest and coziest area at Stepping Stones is the ELLI+ Book Nook, a dedicated space for children and their caregivers to discover the pleasures of reading and storytelling. Families can settle in for a quiet moment of storytelling or enjoy a variety of literacy–centered programs throughout the museum. Through these specially–curated and crafted programs, projects and engagements, Book Nook staff and volunteers help build caregiver knowledge about reading development so they can support reading at home.
