Healthyville®, U.S.A Initiative
Investing in Community Health Literacy through Immersive Learning

At Stepping Stones Museum for Children, we believe that strong communities are built by children who understand their voice matters. Our Healthyville, U.S.A. Initiative is a groundbreaking, multilingual “city” designed to help children see themselves as active participants in a thriving society – where health means more than wellness visits. The first of its kind, a museum-neighborhood built just for children, Healthyville, U.S.A. is community: inclusive of civic responsibility, economic understanding, communication, empathy and collective care.
Reaching more than 250,000 visitors annually, Healthyville, U.S.A. brings the concept of community health to life through immersive play. Children explore how neighborhoods function and discover how reading, writing, speaking and listening are essential tools for problem-solving, cooperation and contributing to the greater good.
