It’s full STEAM ahead as we step into a new school year with 18 S.T.E.A.M.–infused workshops. Stepping Stones Museum for Children is an engine of playful learning with a nationally-recognized track record of success. We provide outstanding exhibits, programs and services for children that contribute to healthy communities around the world. Bring your class or group to the museum to experience the hands-on fun, connect with us virtually or we can bring our special brand of play-based learning to you!

Homeschool Experiences
Homeschool groups of all ages and sizes have a unique opportunity to investigate our multidisciplinary, hands-on exhibits and activities. Link up with other homeschool families for our engaging workshops or a social gathering at the museum.

Our museum staff will take you and your group on an exhibit tour, engage in discussions and help them uncover the many content layers of learning opportunities.

Tailored to fit the developmental needs of students from Preschool through to Grade 5, each workshop builds on foundational skills while encouraging hands-on discovery. Listening Ears and Engineers
Put on your thinking caps and take out your magnifying glasses! Read and analyze select books from the Questioneers series by Andrea Beaty and engineer your own creative inventions just like Iggy Peck and Rosie Revere.
Ramps and Rollers
Engage in collaborative investigations to explore the cause and effect of force and motion by experimenting with ramps and rollers.
(Sense)-ational Explorations
Do you think it’s possible to smell sound? Work together to investigate the influence our five senses have on how we interact with the world around us.

Bookings are made a minimum of two weeks out from the date of contact. When making a reservation, please carefully estimate the number of children and adults in your class(es) in order to minimize the difference between your planned and actual participants. We can only hold a reservation with a deposit or full payment.
