Summer Swing

From soaring on swings and gathering for picnics and backyard barbecues to discovering bugs and catching fireflies, this Season of Fun brings summer’s timeless joys to life throughout the museum. Even everyday chores become part of the fun as you hang clothes on a clothesline and mow the lawn while exploring the sights, sounds and traditions of summers gone by. Celebrate the season with us and make new memories all summer long!

All Summer Long

Firefly Forest

During Summer Swing, step into The Theater as day turns to night and a peaceful forest comes alive with immersive visuals and the sounds of a summer evening. Gather around a cozy campsite, grab a net to chase bubble “fireflies” and discover a whimsical woodland after dark filled with glowing surprises.

Happening daily at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. Firefly Forest will not be offered on July 11 and 12.

Swing Into It! Golf Tournament

Grab your clubs and get ready to hit the fairway for the 23rd annual Swing Into It! Golf Tournament at the Stanwich Club in Greenwich, CT. This exciting fundraising event supports the museum’s critical Open Arms accessibility initiative.
